Is it actually a park? Need a place to stay in Portland? We have a block of rooms reserved at the Ace Hotel in downtown Portland. $125 a night for a queen bed (regular is $140), and there are other hotels in the area. We're also happy to help you find a home stay. There is limited parking at Montgomery Park, and we want to be eco-friendly, so we encourage everyone to take public transportation or carpool. The 15 Bus runs straight from the Ace to Montgomery Park. Get on at SW 9th and Washington and get off at NW Thurman & 27th. A couple blocks walk on either end of the trip. It's a bit of a further walk (.4 mile) to pick up the 17 (labeled "NW 21st") at NW Glisan and 12th, but it runs directly to Montgomery Park. Need a Ride to Rebooting Democracy? We can help find you a rideshare. Just get in touch. And you can find driving directions to Montgomery Park here. Coming from Seattle? The train's not bad. You could always just take the Bus. Lane County gets the special treatment, with the legend Ben Fain taking over the helm of the genuine Bus. Seats going fast, so get in touch soon to save your spot. You don't want to miss it. Flying in? Flap very hard. Then take TriMet. If you're driving from PDX airport, here you go. Restaurants & Bars We'll be keeping your belly nice and full all weekend, but if you feel like going out, there's plenty around. Poke around here and here for some options. We recommend the beer. |
